DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN THE WORKS

We practice what we preach. What that means is we are intentional in the services we provide because we do them ourselves. Whether it is retrofitting our own house and portfolio of buildings, implementing renewable energy to offset our own consumption or designing, managing and building our own developments, our services keep pace with the times.

If you are an investor or developer, these are our projects in the pipeline. Our developments aim to be integrated with their communities and their environments; but as you know, they also have to be financially sustainable to make them successful. For more information, please connect with us.

THE NEW HAMLET
THE NEW HAMLET

Esopus, NY

The New Hamlet Project is an enhancement to the Town of Esopus’ community. The development consists of twelve townhouse-style rental units and a mixed-use building. The mixed-use building accommodates two 1,600 SF retail storefronts on the first floor, one and two-bedroom apartments on the second floor, an exercise room and a lap pool in the lower level and two units dedicated towards affordable housing.

This project embraces the beautiful location by allowing residents to relax and enjoy their surroundings with outdoor seating areas, a pocket park with sidewalks and ramps that are strategically designed to encourage community gatherings.

Wright Companies is committed to making this development sustainable, resilient and inclusive. Our objective is to ensure that this project is carbon neutral ready and includes the necessary infrastructure to accommodate Solar PV and battery backup as well as EV charging stations. We are implementing onsite storm water management as well as rain gardens to mitigate its environmental impact.

This project is currently going through Planning Board review.

MILLENNIA HOUSE
MILLENNIA HOUSE

Port Ewen, NY

As part of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Building Better Homes program, Wright Builders, Inc. is developing three single family model homes that are highly energy efficient and all electric. Our objective is to consolidate Wright Companies' extensive experience on sustainable design and construction into replicable houses that provide a healthy environment for their occupants.

These houses produce as much energy as they consume and are equipped with battery backup to allow for the uninterrupted operation of essential loads. Rain gardens are implemented to manage onsite storm water.

The Millennia House models intend to make carbon neutral homes more accessible and Wright Companies is working with different private and public stakeholders to make this possible.

This project is currently under the research and development phase.

MOUNT REPOSE GARDEN

Mount Repose Gardens is a residential development located in the historic city of Kingston, NY near the Rondout area. This vacant lot serves as an infill site within an urban area and will be the home for a mix of market rate and affordable housing units. This project will be carbon neutral ready and integrate onsite storm water management strategies to mitigate its environmental impact.

This project is currently in the schematic design phase and waiting for the new zoning code to be enacted to proceed with approvals.

MOUNTAINVIEW CROSSINGS

Located on Mountainview Ave across the street from Robert Graves elementary school, this development will be a great addition to the local community. The project is inspired and developed around KThunder FC, a local nonprofit that supports many youth in their journies to become the best soccer players they can be at a low or no cost.

This vacant property will turn into a mixed-use commercial facility. The program includes a building for recreational/daycare purposes, a 240ft x 360ft soccer field, indoor soccer facilities and light manufacturing warehousing. Our objective is to integrate sustainable strategies and renewable energies with battery backup to operate this development.

This project is currently in the schematic design phase. We are also holding meetings with the community and representatives of the town.
